Amelia’s Magazine 10th Anniversary limited edition gold book: #TWWDNU

10 th anniversary of Amelia’s Magazine: the cutting edge magazine which for years has discovered and developed the talents of contemporary illustration is is going back into print.

I am lucky enough to be one of the selected illustrators along with Daria Hlazatova, Essi Kimpimäki and other cool artists that have the chance to be featured in the book! The book will be full of awesome gold-infused, mystical images and writings on the theme of ‘That Which We Do Not Understand’. The central themes include Mysticism, Spirituality, Alchemy, Paganism, Witchcraft, Herbalism, Shamanism, Magick, Voodoo, Folklore, Esotericism, Tarot, Astrology, Animal Spirits, Paranormal activities, the Moon and much more.

The money for the project will be raised through Kickstarter – so please have a look here, spread the word and help make it happen! There are plenty of great rewards available (especially for those who get there early!), and you can pledge anything between £5 and £1000.

Ver Sacrum is my contribution to the book – Below is my illustration for the book: a limited edition of 10 individual pieces of A2 print made with real gold foil inserts. If you like my artworks you can get it here for only 180£. I think it coul be a nice present for christmas.

33 working days have been  required to develop “Ver sacrum” illustration, the allegory of the human being creation. Two feminine featured demiurges are putting together a newborn,  Turing machine model conceived. The image is made of more than 300 anatomical drawings showing human body organs and membranes (among them pancreas, lungs, brain, testicles). At one time celebrating and rethinking the Jugendstil style , my all along research, affected by electronic and digital contaminations typical  in nowaday ’s language.

Please help make this happen by pledging and sharing! :-)
